Cambridge-Somerville for Change is dedicated to promoting progressive policies and candidates, and so far this is a tough year for the things we care about. Many of us are just realizing that the November 2nd elections are only five weeks away. Now is the time to take the next step.
Sign up to make a difference.
Many of us have been active through the Summer, as we worked on voter registration, promoting the DREAM Act, and the Mac D'Alessandro campaign. We all need to keep going, to find more time, to talk to our friends, relatives and neighbors.
Due to the hard work of several local organizations, we are very fortunate to now have a full-time, local campaign office for our volunteers.
Sign up for a Friend Bank at the new office at 2285 Mass. Ave, on the corner of Meacham Rd, near Davis Square.
As in previous elections, CSfC is working with several other local and state groups to maximize our impact, but Republicans and their allies are more organized than ever. With so many out-of-state groups pouring money and activists into Massachusetts, the Governor's contest has become a national race.
For local activists, this is a great opportunity to turn back the tide of a resurgent right-wing, to re-write the story that says we're sitting this one out.
Take a stand. Sign up.

About
Cambridge-Somerville for Change is an all-volunteer community group dedicated to harnessing the grassroots energy and spirit of change inspired by the Obama campaign. Our organizing work includes electoral and issue-based campaigns at the local, state, and national level. Our members have chosen to work on promoting economic fairness, comprehensive health care reform, creating policies that conserve energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, provide for fair and adequate access to public transportation, and promoting in-state tuition for immigrant youth.
This is an organization built by and for you, the community, and we look forward to your participation and feedback. If you have questions, comments, or suggestions about getting involved, please email
