On Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at 11 a..m., a tribute to the life of Ken
Thomson will be held at Cornerstone Cohousing, at 195 Harvey St, Cambridge, in the
newly renovated room to be named “Ken’s Den” in his honor. Ken was aware
of this before he passed on and was delighted in the name. There will
be a brief ritual and dedication followed by tributes and remembrances
that those present will be invited to share.
Guests are asked to enter through the doors at the rear of that building. Note that this is not the main building (#175) at the end of the main driveway. It is the building (#195) closest to the end of the street, at the corner of Clifton St. Cornerstone will get permission from the city so that you can park on the streets nearby.
Following the service there will be a potluck lunch in the Common House. If you can bring a dish to share for 6-8 people, that will be appreciated. Some beverages will also be welcome. Commonly prepared meals were a favorite part of Ken’s pleasure in living at Cornerstone, and he rarely missed one.
